About
I AM A FASHION & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER CURRENTLY BASED IN CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA. I WORK WITH TALENTED STYLISTS, HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTISANS TO SHOWCASE SOME OF THE VERY BEST UPCOMING AND ESTABLISHED MODELS.
I have a deeper desire towards fashion photography. I find the movement and posing have such a statuesque quality, while featuring the detailed artistry in sartorial design. So much effort is focused into the industry of garments it requires some attention to remind the public of the beauty present from a wide angle encompassing view of the entire ensemble of a model, pose, motion, outfit, accessories, hair, makeup, shoes and of course the environment. Then to the close up beauty and product shots that express the attention to detail that most ignore, but allow those willing to take in the overlooked quality in design and materials.
I also have a special interest in developing and promoting the other professionals I work along-side, whether by teaching other photographers, building up aspiring models, or showcasing promising hair and makeup artists, and especially seeking out the rare stylists I find who have a vision beyond simple commercial appeal. Working with them, I feel the growth in myself towards a never ending quest to be better.
